Today is theme day! As the theme is 'Waiting' I think we were suppose to take photos of people...but I didn't get a chance to do that. So instead I've snapped a shot of a fruit waiting to be picked.
A lot of the houses here have citrus trees in their yard. I think this is a citrus called 'Buntan.' Must be great having fruits ripe for the picking right outside the house!

I think this is an excellent choice for the THeme Day and one that most people will not have thought about. This lemon is surely well near the end of the waiting period.

What a great idea, waiting for a lemon to ripen. am sure we weren't supposed to photograph people - theme day is always open to our interpretation - that's the fun of it - and your interpretation is excellent and different.
I have seen this here, but it's far from usual. A funny and original choice for this Theme Day and a beautiful picture. I'm sure those citruses are delicious!
