Someone is taking good care of these flowers outside of the apartment building. I think they may be viola plants.
Today is the first day back to work for me and probably most people who work in companies here in Japan. I have to say I could use a vacation to recover from the vacation. How are you all recovering from the holiday festivities?

I would like to have a green thumb 'cause most of my plants are dying. I'm back to language school and I'm already skipping on the second day.
Winter flowers are back. I took photos today on my way home despite cold temperature, it helped a bit, the photo doing, not the temperature :).

White Oleander, you sound busy though! I did really well on my veranda garden my first year, but ended up killing everything last summer...green thumbs are hard to get ;)
Henny, you're right, nothing can help the temperature! It's so cold! But the flowers make it bareable :)
Nice and well kept flowers. I happily hate Holidays: I would eagerly skip from December 15 to January 15 without any regret!
