This mailbox was tilting it's head at me...so I stopped to take a photo. Then I realized that you could actually see small bits of reflections in the lower half of the mailbox.
It's actually a very classy mailbox, don't you think? (Now I'm tilting my head at you!)

I think there is even a mailbox meme out there. I used to live for the mail. Now, for me, surface mail has almost gone by the wayside.

At first I thought the lower part had a kind of hammered texture, but the edges are too sharp. It must be a kind of mosaic effect.
It looks like it is easy for the mailman to use and, at the same time, good at keeping rain at bay; but maybe not the best thing to receive internet shopping deliveries in.
What an interesting mailbox. I don't think I've seen one like it before. :)
