What a year it's been...for me, anyway. How was your year?
I had SUCH a great time with this blog this year! It gave me a reason to start taking really LONG walks to areas in Tokorozawa that I never had a chance or a reason to go to. So many things I've learned from just talking to random people and looking up the history of the area. Next year will be my third year as part of the City Daily Photo community and I can't wait to get started!
Thank you to everyone who came by to take a glimpse at photos of Tokorozawa. And a big New Year's Eve hug to those who left comments, I really really appreciate it.
I hope it's blue skies all the way for everyone in the new year!

I could say the same, CDP has been a way to rediscover many parts of our cities we barely know. I always loved to walk, with a camera it is even more fun.
Thanks for showing us you city with so many beautiful images!
Happy New Year!
Thanks for sharing your city with us.
Interesting shot! I love the reflection of the clouds in the building, and the tree branches to balance things out!
I like this angled shot. HNY 2011.
Beautiful shot to end the year with!
I hope you have a great New Year! May 2011 be a good one!

Looks as if the tree is reaching out to the building, pulling it into the new year, new life, new hope.
Please have a wonderful happiness filled new year.

Nice shot! Completely the same for me, doing a daily photo forces you to explore! Happy new year, looking forward to more from you in 2011!
What a shot! That diagonal of cloud-wisped blue sky intersecting the nearly perfect opposing right triangles of bare, intertwining dark tree branches and the slick silvery reflective building facade.
Your dedication, and ongoing knowledge acquisition of things Tokorozawan is apparent and appreciated. It has been a pleasure to vicariously join you briefly for those walks. (Brief: as in the time it takes for a camera shutter to click.)
As I am writing this it is January 1, 2011 in Japan.
あけましておめでとうございます。
Kaori, it's not only a joy to see your photos, but also your bubbly personality; it shines through. 2010 was a year full of change and surprises for me... mostly good ones... including getting hooked on blogging I hope 2011 will be the same.
Great combination of elements! Have a prolific photographic Year!
Thank YOU for getting me hooked onto CDP. Now I actually appreciate Chicago more because you. haha.
