Glove? Are you sure that isn’t a five-petalled, striped Hamamelis Japonica blossom?
Oh, yes. People in Japan were always so kind to leave a dropped or lost article of clothing up where it could be seen.
I found some fingerless gloves (different color than here) recently that help when I practice 尺八 bamboo flute in the cold. But no need these days. Yesterday it was in the 80s. Today, it was in the lower 70s F (around 22 Cº). Whoopie!

I have seen this kind of tree, its fruits appear only in winter and usually one at a time...
Who knows where the owner went? I can think of all kinds of answers. It made an interesting thing to take a picture of.
i hope you do post this tree again when it blooms. ^0^
and whatever happenned to this glove? ^-^

Some cold-fingered soul will appreciate finding her glove back. You're so funny, Kaori!
[My guess is that besides the peacock, the other two birds are the flamingo and the heron... but hey, I'm no bird expert either! :-D ]
Oh wow! It's so cold that the trees have gloves now? =p

I guess you need a second tree for a right-hand flower?
