Afternoon Flight

Another afternoon at Koku Park.

This eagle is made out of thin wooden sticks and paper, although it looks very real. And here's the owner of the lovely eagle during his flight below. They both seemed to be having a great time!

Poor Fellow

This cute bird is perched on top of a steel bollard at the entrance of a park next to Kita Akitsu Preschool. I think it may be a sparrow, which we call 'Suzume (soo-zoo-meh)' in Japanese.

There were four birds in all but I noticed that one had a band-aid on its stomach. I wonder how it was hurt and who was kind enough to aid the poor sparrow.

Hitching a Ride

I found a tiny albino spider hitching a ride on my bike.

I'm hoping it just moved to the tire before I took the picture. If not, the spider's eyes must be spinning from hanging on the tire while I was riding on it.
