Tokorozawa Library

This is the sign at the entrance of the Tokorozawa Library. It says 'Tokorozawa Library' (surprise, surprise!) in Kanji.

It was actually closed when I went by the other day. Darn. So I'm heading there again this week. But I did take a photo of this sign because I liked bricks behind it.

Don't you love libraries? The quietness, the smell of books, and the excitement of finding a story that you've never read before. Can't wait!

I love the kanji! Too bad I didn't do better in the Shoji class at Mashita Minami koto gakko!

Yes, yes, libraries are the X on the treasure map. Is that brick wall slightly curved or is that a special lens you used to photograph it?

Quite a wide variety of colors in those bricks. I like all of them.

Leif Hagen, you've still got time to learn :)

brattcat, another library fan, yay! The wall was flat so it may look that way because of the angle and my very old digital camera :)

Tall Gary, it's wonderful hearing from you! Thank you for the comment. Hope you've been well :)

Libraries here aren't what used to be, but I still like them. I can judge yours only by a sign that I don't comprehend, but I am sure I would like it.

So true, Vogen Poet! I remember the libraries when I was a kid, it was like going to an amusement park! I usually get books online now but I still like going to the library once in awhile :)
