My Choice of Drink

Although the clothes stores have started selling corduroy and fur, it's still hot as ever in Tokorozawa. Not only Tokorozawa but everywhere in Japan, actually.

It's always so humid. Many people are suffering from heat exhaustion. Which is why it's important to take plenty of fluids this time of year!

When I plan on being outside for awhile, I always buy this drink at the convenience store. Kachiwari Lemon (かち割りレモン) is actually sold as a frozen drink. But since it's so hot outside it usually starts to melt right away and you can enjoy a cold drink to the very end!

You make the drink look inviting, even though I have no idea what it's like.

It doesn't seem a bad choice. Here is cooler, but not so much...

Sounds like a good choice to try and beat the heat with.

Nothing like lemonade to cool you down! It's one of my favorite summertime drinks.

With the record-breaking heat in Japan I guess if you started with a regular drink instead of a frozen one you would end up with steam coming out of the bottle.

My friends in Japan have been drinking more than usual too.

They do that here too, winter clothes out in the stores when it's still in the 100s outside. And we stay hot until November! Yum on the drink!

Arabesque, I'll buy you one when you come! :D

Tall Gary, seems summer has never been this hot since they started recording the temperature 113 years ago! I think I drink as much as your friends, hehe :D

T.Becque, the crazy things they do in the name of fashion! 100F is too high to see anything longer than shorts and a tanktop! :-D
