Retro is Back

This is one of my favorite buildings, the Shin Tokorozawa South Plaza. You can see the building in color here.

Nice balance of positive and negative space.

Maybe someday you will have a place there and be photographing the view for us.

The monochrome of this image is quite a contrast to yesterday's bright colors.

I usually take the color over th B&W, but this is not bad...

This building is nice enough to look good in both color and b&w... but in great part that is in how you captured it. Well, done, Kaori.

It's amazing how the B&W makes it look older.

I like the b&w and the pattern created by the balconies. Retro is always in :)

Thank you for the comments all! I'm always surprised at how different everything looks when taken in black and white. I do prefer color, but sometimes seeing things from a different perspective isn't so bad either :D

Tall Gary, oh wouldn't that be great!

T. Becque, you're so right. It is always in :D

Altadenahiker, you could say it looks a bit solviet-like ;-)
