Empty Road

Just a regular road. But I liked the contrast of the white building and dark wall...

(PS: I haven't been able to comment back to everyone as I'm away from home at the moment. I'll try to drop by soon! Thanks so much for commenting! I very much appreciate it :D)

This is a road? It looks more like an alleyway... and a very neat one, at that!

[RED is totally the color of auspiciousness and good luck in Chinese. I could start a blog just on everything red in China... starting with its flag. So yes, one of the several dresses worn by the bride throughout the wedding banquet, usually the first, is definitely the traditional red. I'll be posting more about this, I'm sure!]

Interesting contrast. Very stark and cold. Nice effect.

This is a lovely scene. Perfect in black and white.

Good for b&w!

Oh, by the way, that was not someone's personal backyard I took the "Junk" photo in, but a backyard of a business.

Good balance of light and dark, almost like an art-deco-style yin-yang symbol. (We could call it Ka-Toko style: short for Kaori Tokorozawa).

Looks like a good alternative bicycle route to avoid street traffic.

Nice perspective - nice black and white piece. Are you on holiday? If you are, have a nice time :)

It might lead towards a promise.

Please have a good Wednesday.

Francisca, you'd be surprised to see how many cars drive through here! (Although it is only one-way)

Tall Gary, it really is. There's a bigger road next to this, so I don't think very many people know about this route :D

Evelyn, I'm helping out at a tennis tournament and don't have my computer with me...not really a holiday but it's quite fun ;D (I think you said that you play tennis, right?)

Robert, Oh I can only hope! :-D
