Hammer Away

There's a lot of construction going on lately. I love watching construction sights and seeing the houses take shape.

My dad is a really good carpenter, and although that's not his profession, he used to make bunk beds and study desks for us kids when we were little. All the noise at the construction sight brings back memories!

It's so nice to see traditional methods used for building.

I agree with you - it's fun to see a new house being built! My father loves to do woodworking projects in his workshop at home!

Carpenting would be a job I could have chosen! Looking forward to see the building complete...

Your father is a doting parent type, and he knows how to express it.
It's unforgettably impressive episode.

Were you thinking of Racer X?

I was thinking about what I would do If I Had A Hammer.

Your photos evoke the fragrances of fresh sawdust, raw ground, and pipe-joint compounds (I don’t think they use that anymore—replaced by teflon tape).

But the best thing about building a house it is to be involved on it. When you are working hard to make with your own hands.
