Veggie Delight

I found this vegetable patch around the corner from Jimyoin Temple.

I really love gardens. But I also know it takes a lot of energy and time to keep a good garden. Which is why all I do is admire my neighbor's garden these days.

But hopefully one of these days...

The temperature may be falling, but it’s autumn! The best time for a food lover, what with all the crops that are harvested at this time of year.

Bon appetit!

Like you, I can only admire the vegetable patches of others. We eat a lot of vegs and the more I read about how mass non-organic growing affects the goodness, the more tempted I get to try. But where to find the time...?

Lovely and green. I like gardens too.

These are some great veggies, and they look completely unspoiled!

I try every year but never seem to do as well as my neighbors.

That is a nice garden! I would love to have a backyard garden, but I have too many critters around that would raid it.

I've always wanted to learn some gardening. Maybe I will one day...

It is such a pleasure to see things grow from seed. These beds, however, are WAY tidier than mine. Last year, something I thought was chard, was actually beets, and I didn't know that until I pulled them up. The gardener in your photos would never make such a mistake.

gardening never crossed my mind, maybe because we have such a small place here. but looking at these fotos, one can't help but admire it.

It looks fun! But as you mentioned, lots of work, and sometimes its better to admire someone's else garden :)

This is something that I've never done; I don't think I have the patience for it although it would be nice to have fresh vegetables!

I wish I could plant my own veggies in a nice garden.
