On the Lookout

Well, it's Sunday again. And I'm seriously running out of bridge photos.

So until I can find a new bridge in Tokorozawa, once again this is Asahi Bridge, from a slightly different angle!

Oh. The gingko tree is leafing out in its beautiful matte green. It’s funny how the leaves are coming right out of the trunk without any kind of intermediary branch. I used to sometimes drink gingko leaf tea.

Is that the little clump of flowers from May 30th on the other side of the bridge?

I noticed that there is a bridge beyond the bridge.

That leaf out of the trunk of the tree is so strange...

Seeing this bridge again works for me... nice framing.
My co-worker's family is moving to Nagoya in July for 2 years (he's been there for 5 months already) - what a great adventure for them.

At least you have a bridge. We have a couple that go over dry riverbeds (ie: dirt), and they're are nothing to take a picture of! Pretty!

I like your focus on the leaves and the bridge in the background. Nicely framed image.

A really great photo with the ginkgo leaf foreground and landscape in the back. I've only seen ginkgo bonsais so this is interesting.

A lot of people mentioned it, but it really is weird how the leaf is just growing out of the trunk, isn't it! But I've noticed that they grow practically everywhere, even closer to the roots!

Tall Gary, yes! Good eye! They are they flowers I took over by the ledge :D

Tash, although I've never lived there, I hear Nagoya is a great place! They're famous for Miso ;D
