Into The Wild

As much as I love cultivated flowers, I have a soft spot for wild flowers. They're so rare these days, especially in the city.

I also love wildflowers, these are nice shots of them. In the fall, in the mountain meadows, we can get the most amazing fields of wildflowers.

From flour to flowers. From food to beauty. How about flowers as beautiful food?

It can be so nice to see nature taking care of herself without a lot of human intervention. For some reason this post of yours made me think of this cartoon. Which led me to another of the same cartoonist’s work.

I can see why you like them. They're pretty! Even if they are wild.

What a good find. It's beautiful.

And it's rare to see petals like that too. :D

I hardly ever come across wild flowers....

Thank you everyone for the comments! I think the flowers are all the more beautiful because only nature has touched it :-D

Al, fields of wildflowers sounds wonderful!

Tall Gary, did you hear about the white raddish that grew on a sidewalk somewhere in Japan? Reminded me of it when I saw your cartoon :-)
