The end of another week.
The sky above Tokorozawa was pretty earlier this week.
Do you see the slightly faded mountain on the left? That is Mt. Fuji, the tallest mountain in Japan. It is located about 85km southwest of Tokorozawa, on the border of Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefecture.
It's not everyday that the sky is clear like this, which makes the view of Mt. Fuji even more special.

When in Tokyo I could never quite believe I could see Mt. Fuji even when rarely viewing the distant visage. For one thing, I lived for 11 years near a slope where Fuji was visible (富士見ヶ丘）and never once saw Fuji.
Your photo makes me feel, "Oh, wow. That really is Mt. Fuji."

Considering that Mt. Fuji is a dormant volcano, one wonders what it will look like after it erupts again after something like 300 years.

Very pretty especially with Mt. Fuji showing so clearly. I also looked at your plum blossom photos - plums are blossoming in California (by my mother's house) but it is still deep snow in the east of the US.
