Shovel or Make Snow Angels

Winter has finally swept through Tokorozawa. I woke up this morning to this and couldn't help but jump up and down!

It usually never snows in Tokorozawa, or any area around Tokyo, for that matter. It's always just cold and cloudy. And I'm always like this, doing a little snow dance, because I think if it's going to be cold, it might as well snow!

So imagine my excitement on seeing this! And I know it'll all be gone by mid-day and it's just a one time deal, but that's probably one of the reasons why I love it so much when it snows!

Oh my god. I love Calvin and Hobbes. Thanks for bringing him by for us to see. I read that Calvin and I have the same Myers-Briggs personality type—INFP. What’s yours?

Yes, you’re right, it does look like a rather light snowfall. It seems that there is less snow each year in Tokyo.

The sight of snow falling, especially large, slow flakes, used to enthrall me in hypnotic wonder. I’ll bet that when you looked out your window at that pristine cold white blanket, your neighborhood was almost deafening in a thick hushed silence.

Funny, how after a few days it just becomes a grey-smudged, roadside kind of rubbish.

By the way, I’m guessing it was more snow angels than shovels for you.
