Isn’t it nice to see something like that even after you think the cherry-blossom season is over? Spring is not just Somei Yoshino cherry trees, after all. I just read that yaezakura cherry trees can have flowers of from 10 to 100 petals, so I have to wonder if that is a cherry tree even though I would not guess so.
The bottom photo—with its wired-up utility pole, and that grey (?) wall at the bottom of that little slope—looks like an interesting mix of urban and rural.
It does look like an enjoyable place to take a walk. Thanks for showing us this.
