You know what it means when Hydrangeas start to bloom...the rainy season is here! It's been raining off and on this whole week. Need to get my rubber boots out.
Hydrangeas are called 'Ajisai' in Japanese. The kanji (紫陽花) roughly translates to 'purple sun flower' which sort of fits because it is shaped like a sun and some of them are purple. But I see pink, blue, and white hydrangeas too.
A pretty flower to brighten up the rainy day blues.

1. I love your title
2. I love these flowers
3. It has been raining here all week as well.
...but that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red...
Are you falling in love? I presume that from your posting this past days :)
beautiful flowers !
In your second photo I see another (is it another? Or have we seen it before?) of those “secret” walkways.
I love the song, "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head." Did you know that the cinematographer of this clip from “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” Conrad Hall, was for a time married to the woman in this clip, Katherine Ross?
pretty flowers, didn't know those flowers bloom on rainy season
You’ve been showing us such a beautiful string of flowers these days that when I visit your blog, Kaori, it’s like my computer is wearing a Hawaiian lei.
Thanks for all the comments! I see it's been raining pretty much everywhere. Hope you all have some flowers blooming to cheer you up to!
PS
Henny, I wish :P
Gary, I did not know that! Very interesting :)
