Sushi Hatsu

I hear sushi is really popular just about anywhere now.

Well, this place is a popular sushi restaurant here in Tokorozawa. Sushi Hatsu is open from 11am to 14pm, and again from 4pm to 11pm. They have other dishes besides sashimi and sushi, like fried fish, if you can't eat it raw. They also have a very nice selection of Japanese sake.

I love the lighting that you captured here. It is so inviting. The dark, grayish-blue background of not-quite-dusk; and the bright, yellow oranges. Yum.

It looks like the restaurant is south-east of the station and near a kind of ear/nose/throat clinic. By the way, it’s not like I will become inconvenienced here in California but the internet says 寿司初 is open for lunch from 11:30 am.

I used to like junmaishu type sake.

I wonder if they have any sake from Henny’s town of Saijo in Hiroshima. Saijo looks rather famous for sake.
